| Brady’s Yacht Club has been serving drinks in Santa
Cruz for over a half -century. A
neighborhood bar with an unlisted number (if you don’t know the number you
don’t need to know the number), it has been the second (and off times first)
home of sailors, schoolteachers, bikers, lawyers, losers, winners, students,
laborers, saints, thieves, scholars, fools and prophets of all persuasions. Each brought and left behind something
of themselves along with the bowling trophies and model ships. And sometimes, a photographer would stop in for a drink with film in his camera…
